Credit for Education
in the
Former Yugoslavia
Natasha (not her real name) is from the former Yugoslavia. There, she completed an Occupational Therapist Diploma from the Higher Medical School in Belgrade.
Now in Canada, she would like to get a masters degree in occupational therapy, but she requires a four-year bachelor’s degree to enter the program.
The Bachelor of Professional Arts: Human Services from Athabasca University would meet many of her needs:
- she can take one or two courses at a time and still work full time
- she can take courses from home using the Internet
- she would receive 60 credits for the diploma she completed in Belgrade
Natasha was happy. She could finish the degree more quickly, and she wouldn’t have to pay for these 20 courses!
See what courses she would need to take to complete the Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services degree.
