Credit for Your Computer Education

Many people around the world have earned diplomas in computing in the last few years. Although the industry has slowed down, there is still a need for people with university degrees in computers and information systems.

A Canadian university degree in computing can give you the education you need to apply for computing and information systems jobs in small business, telecommunications, financial services, transportation, utilities, natural resources, manufacturing, retail, education, and other fields.

The Bachelor of Science in Computing and Information Systems makes it easy to complete a university degree—you may receive credit for your computer diploma, and you can take the rest of the classes online.

Mohan (not his real name) completed a four-year computer science program at North South University in Bangladesh. Below, you can see which courses he would be given credit for, and how many courses he still needs to take.
