introduction to ergonomics

This distance university course will give you a background in the theory and practice of ergonomics.

You will learn about the sciences that contribute to ergonomics and how they are applied in various situations to determine human capabilities and limitations.

You will also learn how to apply ergonomic principles to the areas of workspace design, material handling, musculoskeletal injury prevention and display design.

 

Evaluation

You will be evaluated based on:

  • 3 assignments
  • a project
  • a final exam
